Let’s face it guys. Yeah, Braylon Edwards gets into fights outside of clubs. Yeah, he got shut out last week. And sure, the quarterbacks, offensive line, trainers, coaching, waterboys, and just about every other possible thing on the Cleveland Browns sucks for Edwards but let’s face it, he got traded because of King James.
For those that don’t remember the story it goes something like this:
The trade comes in the midst of an investigation of what happened outside of a Cleveland nightclub early Monday morning, when Edwards allegedly punched promoter Edwards Givens, who happens to be BFFs with LeBron James. No charges have been filed yet, but the incident could be disciplined by NFL brass
Yeah and P.S. James called Edwards’ actions “childish.”
Two things. First of all, the city of Cleveland is really really sad. Even its football team is catering to Lebron James? “OK Lebron, you want Shaq? You got him. You want a gazillion dollars and no title? You got it.” Don’t get me wrong, I like James but isn’t his sphere of influence just a tad overboard in the city of Cleveland?
Someone must have given the memo to Eric Mangina.
Second of all. Um, “Childish” Lebron? You mean like walking off the court in the Playoffs and not shaking the other teams hands? That kind of childish?
Have fun NOT winning a title again.

Laughable grammar (commas aren’t poison!), poor grasp of the English language and typos aside, it’s far from uncommon for an NBA team to cater to its superstar. Furthermore, to imply that LeBron (capital B, not lower) had any influence in the decision is a bit foolhardy at best. Cleveland fans never cared for Braylon, especially after his alcohol binge with Dante Stallworth that resulted in the death of an innocent man. I suspect Mangini has been looking for an excuse to dump Braylon for quite some time. Braylon’s constant violation of team rules made it easy for the no excuses coach to get rid of him.
That said, the only sad thing about this “story” is that the only funny bit is the “Hastily Made Cleveland Tourism” video left by a comment.

Just wondering if you knew that this site actually makes fun of things from time to time. I’m quite aware that Edwards is a team cancer and Lebron isn’t that influential. Come on man.
