It’s a debate that will live on long after I’m dead.  Who is the best NBA center of all time?   Personally I think it’s a toss up between Russell, Chamberlain and Abdul Jabbar.  My bias towards NOT choosing Chamberlain is that both Russell and Jabbar were able to figure him out.  Russell has the championships and Jabbar has the points (and some championships of his own).  It’s a tough call regardless.

In any event, without the argument that leaves me realizing how old I’m getting.  And not just me, these guys!  It’s crazy how the time flies.  With that said, here are past and present photos of the best NBA centers.

*For the purposes of this article Tim Duncan is a power forward despite being considered a center by some (not me) otherwise he’d be on here.
