Capital One Bowl FootballThe NCAA has sent Michigan a “letter of inquiry,” which basically  means Rich Rod and crew are going to have NCAA officials up their ass in regards to allegations that they have been violating the number of hours spent in practice during both the regular and off-season.

The school started looking into allegations brought against Rich Rodriguez’s program in August after a report in the Detroit Free Press cited anonymous players claiming the amount of time they spent during the season and in the offseason exceeded NCAA limits.

This comes on the heels of a 35-10 loss to Penn State over the weekend.

Making a comeback has been no easy feat for the Wolveines and the NCAA isn’t making things any easier. Nobody can forget the purely heinous season they had last year and even a 5-3 record at this point is sub-par for college football’s winningest program. Too bad they can’t take on more Delaware State-esque teams and return to the juggernaut throne they used to claim as home. But then again… I’m from Ohio, so I can’t help but chuckle a little bit.

Okay, a lot.
