Pretty much the same results as last week, although Cincinnati is inching closer by jumping 3 spots from last week, and USC drops from the top 10 after being upset. This ends yet another year where the Trojans went in with predictions from essentially everywhere saying they’d win, hands down. I’m sure they’ll bounce back big next year…

Cincinnati is an intriguing story, however. They have virtually no history, at least not compared to the current 1 & 2. If they win out their season (and it’s very possible that they do), I’m sure it’ll create a clusterf*ck-tastrophe that the current BCS system cannot and will not resolve peacefully. Lord knows, though, that the TV networks are going to look for Florida versus either Alabama or Texas match-up.

I, on the other hand, would enjoy seeing an Iowa versus Cincinnati national championship game. Why? Because that’d be freaking weird. Florida versus Texas sounds entirely plausable. Iowa and Cincinnati? It just sounds weird and I’m okay with that!
