I’m not a huge Ochocinco fan.  I think he’s a good receiver, but he’s also borderline retarded.  And I don’t mean that as an insult to retarded people; I really think Ochocinco is mentally challenged.  But even I have to admit that his latest stunt was pretty funny.  From xtrapointfootball:

With the Cincinnati Bengals up 14-3 in the third quarter on the division rival Baltimore Ravens, Ochocinco caught a 15-yard Carson Palmer(notes) pass near the sideline. The side judge ruled it a catch, but the Ravens contended that Ochocinco’s foot was out of bounds. While the head referee was under the hood looking at the replay, Ochocinco playfully tried to hand the George Washington to an official.

Not even Ochocinco would be dumb enough to try and bribe an official during a game, and this was clearly meant as a joke.  I hope he’s not fined for this, because that would be ridiculous.  Naturally, the referee is having none of it.  He’s like a parent dealing with a child, making the situation that much funnier.  Anyway, thanks to Chad for making the absolute worst part of football – the long, drawn-out period where the refs look at a replay 400 times from 900 different angles – somewhat bearable.
