For a reason I can’t quite figure out, the 7-2 Cincinnati Bengals signed former Chiefs running back Larry Johnson. Always a man of class and grace, Larry Johnson updated his Facebook page with the following message last night:
“Gonna gallop all over the Chiefs. Cleat prints on the chests. Mud in the face masks.”
Great. At what point do the Bengals regret this signing? Today? And what’s with Larry’s beef with the Chiefs? I suppose he thinks he deserves more respect from his former team after averaging 2.7 yards per carry and becoming a public relations nightmare. So Facebook is the place to gripe. I’m actually somewhat surprised he didn’t refer to Jamaal Charles as a fag.
If I was an NFL owner, the first thing I’d do is ban my players from using Facebook or Twitter. Actually, the first thing I’d do is pay for that sex change I’ve been pining for since high school, but the second thing would definitely be banning social networks. Nothing good can come from players using Facebook or Twitter. They’re like a bunch of teenage girls, spewing out stupid shit and totally disregarding grammar and punctuation. You can’t give these morons free reign to say whatever they want to the public, simply because guys like Larry Johnson are bound to post something ridiculous sooner or later.
It amazes me that anyone can read a Tweet by Chad Ochocinco and not conclude that he’s a functioning retard:
WTF!!! They didn’t want me to walk them in school because they are big girls now, huh, I walked them anyway n they ran from my kisses
