As if the Lakers aren’t already one of the NBA’s elit, they’re about to get better.

Los Angeles Lakers forward Pau Gasol is set to make his long awaited return to the court Thursday when the defending NBA champions host the Chicago Bulls.

Having missed the team’s first 11 games because of a hamstring ailment, the seven-foot Spaniard trained Wednesday and declared himself fit for his first regular season game on the Lakers – [Via Washington Post]

So not only will they get their 7 foot Spaniard back.  They’ll also be receivers of the ridiculous hair, silly on court antics and all around flamboyance that is Paul Gasol.  Do you realize how absurd this guy is?  Watch an entire Laker game and you will laugh at least 15 times just watching Pau Gasol.
