1.  It&#039;s often just a case of a guy not working at it or practicing.

2.  What&#039;s often overlooked, though, is that yeah, you or I may be able to shoot 80% from the line in a gym or something.  It&#039;s a hell of a lot different when you&#039;re involved in a fast-paced game, only to have the game completely stop to shoot free throws - you lose rhythm.  Also, you often have to shoot when you&#039;re tired as hell.  Not the same as you or I doing it in a gym or at the park - not even close.  Still, practice should get them to a respectable percentage.</description>
