Amidst all of the recent controversy surrounding Hines Ward and Big Ben and not to mention Hines winning the NFL’s dirtiest player award, you would think that Hines might not be a good dude.  After all it doesn’t appear that Hines cares about his quarterback, smashes the hell out of the defense and makes meanie faces on the field.

But what you might not know is that Hines is one of the biggest givers out there.  He has the Hines Ward Helping Hands foundation and makes numerous appearances every year to help out schools, communities and other projects.  Don’t be too quick to judge Hines.  He’s a good dude.

You know, kind of like when Thunderlips was going nuts against Rocky in Rocky III and he was willing to take a picture with them after the fight.  “That’s the name of the game!”

See Hines?  This is only a week ago.  He’s a champion.
