It looks like Hulk Hogan will be taking a break from claiming that God planned for his son to drive recklessly and put another kid in a lifelong coma to get back into the squared circle.
Hulk Hogan, the biggest name in pro wrestling history, will make his first live appearance on Total Nonstop Action Wrestling’s TNA iMPACT! in a live 3-hour special at 8 p.m. EST Monday, Jan. 4 on Spike TV.
TNA iMPACT! will be going against WWE Monday Raw (9 p.m. EST) on USA Network, the first time two wrestling companies have broadcast live head-to-head since the Monday Night Wars in the late 1990s between WWE and WCW.
Professional wrestling has got to be the least dignifying career in this country. It’s like these guys either die at around age 40 due to all the steroids and pain killers they’ve pumped into their bodies over the years, or they make it into their 60s and can’t resist the urge to get back into the ring and show off their leathery skin and flabby man boobs. If you’re a professional wrestler, it just isn’t going to end well.
Hogan is still gigantic I’m sure, but he looks like an orange clown. Will anybody really be tuning in to see an old man stagger around the ring? Besides me, I mean.
