Way back in April of 2009 there was a lot of controversy in Gator Land amidst Alex Tyus thinking about transferring.   But after careful consideration Tyus returned to the team and has started off the season pretty well with 12 and 7 averages.

But I couldn’t help wonder why exactly Tyus changed his mind.  Was it Billy Donovan?  Because in hind sight he’d have been the 5th player to leave Donovan in a span of 5 months.  Is it the Florida sun?  What the hell was it?

Me?  I think it’s a college life one does not want to give up.  Need proof?  A.  Tyus has a cute girlfriend named Allie.  And B.  It’s college and he’s an athlete on the Florida Basketball team.  This is a no brainer.
