I know it’s hard….. I know you couldn’t sleep last night….. I know you kept asking the higher power how he/she/or it could do something like this…. and I know there is ice skating for the first time in hell……
USC, trying to impress the public, has issued sanctions on it’s Men’s Basketball Team due to recruiting violations of OJ Simpson. I mean Mayo. Among these harsh sanctions are clauses that says they will ban the team from postseason play and also vacate the 21 wins during Mayo’s season. This was shortly followed by the American public taking a refreshing sigh because all is well in the world of college recruiting again….
First, USC sucks this year. They weren’t making the dance anyway. Second, taking away 21 wins means nothing. People aren’t crying about that season now, are they? Lastly, I’m not applauding the fact they stepped up and went public because I’m almost positive they did it in an attempt to brush the situation under the mat so more crap doesn’t surface.
Ironically, Pete Carroll probably hasn’t legally recruited a player since he’s been at USC. If only all schools could follow in the footsteps of USC’s Men’s basketball program….ummhmm.
