Yeah, I’m sure the guy is innocent in all his wrongdoings after this……

Ex-NBA star Jayson Williams was partying at an upper East Side bar before he crashed his luxury SUV into a tree and fractured his neck, the Daily News has learned.

The former NBA star, who was charged Tuesday with driving while intoxicated, stopped in at Aces & Eights Saloon on First Ave. about 1 a.m.

Correct me if I’m wrong here but during a case that involves, oh I don’t know, MURDER one would think that the defendant would try and keep a low profile during this time, no matter how long a time it is.

So let’s see what we got here. Williams has yet to show up to court to accept his 3 year jail sentence plea for his reduced reckless manslaughter charge. Check.  Before that even happened, he was convicted of covering up the crime by paying the Christofi family $2.75MM to settle.  Check. He’s in the process of getting divorced.  Check.  Despite making $87 Million for the Nets, he claims to be broke.  Check.

Throw in a getting violent with himself in a hotel room in battery park and now drunk driving after partying, I think it’s safe to say that A. He’s 100% guilty of his original crime, and B. What an absolute piece of trash this guy is.
