First, the dude tells the NCAA to go fuck itself and makes money playing in Europe during his first year out of high school – a truly great move that I think will eventually change the NBA’s stance on one-and-done college players. Then he gets drafted too late and shows everyone that in just a few years, he’ll be one of the best point guards in the league.
Brandon Jennings’ latest feat of awesomeness has come off the court in the form of a ridiculous Kid N’ Play-style high top fade, the likes of which hasn’t been seen since the early 90s. It takes some real balls to rock a hairstyle like that. I really hope that he keeps it for a while, only to later change it up with the Gumby/Bobby Brown/Bishop from Juice look. I want a return to the awesome hairstyles of the past. I want MC Hammer lines shaved into the sides of guys’ heads, I want Ron Artest’s habit of shaving messages into his head to be commonplace amongst all players.
Jennings is a pioneer in not only in how he entered the NBA, but in awesome retro haircuts as well.
