I had recently read an article about how Texas Coach Mack Brown didn’t have an interest in coaching in the NFL.  First of all, nice work Mack.  That’s about the smartest thing you’ve thought all week.  As history shows, the transition from NCAA to NFL has not exactly been favorable.  There are a few exceptions but for the most part, no, it doesn’t work.

So it got me thinking.  Wouldn’t it be awesome if NCAA coaches started following in the light of celebrity?  Granted there aren’t many young coaches in the NCAA but there’s gotta be a few that can party it up and get hot chicks.

Like my ideal coach would be Billy Donovan if the guy were dating and partying with all of the hotties at Florida (yes I know most of these guys are married).  Think about it.  I mean I assume that there’s some sort of regulation on coaches dating students but what about if they partied their asses off at other schools?

I just think some kind of paparazzi combined with NCAA coaching, plus reality TV would be incredibly successful.  And it’s not like it would make these guys bad coaches.  As long as they stayed single (Tiger I hope you’re reading this) it wouldn’t make a difference at all.

Bottom line, I just want to look up to NCAA coaches in more ways than just coaching.   I think we need a ladies man coach out there because honestly I don’t think us fans see the true picture as to how revered these guys are and how much ass they could pull if they wanted to.

Will any of these guys step up?

Was this article completely off base?
