Granted this was nearly a year ago you have to admit that there aren’t too many opportunities to see really tall black dudes who are awesome at basketball wear funny shoes and go bowling.

Not to mention it’s for a good charity.

On March 26, 2009, Wizards Care hosted the second annual team fundraiser, “The Ballers Bowl”. The event provided season ticket holders and team sponsors the opportunity to meet with the Wizards players and to bid on Wizards memorabilia in a silent auction, with all proceeds going to the Capital Area Food Bank.

It remains to be seen if this coming March the Wizards will be at it again. It’s a shame there’s no footage of Mr. Arenas and his gun at the one this past March.
