Continuing the trend of pre-season Baseball articles, today we will get bold and predict the Cy Young Award winners for 2010. Here are Unathletic’s predictions…..
AMERICAN LEAGUE CY YOUNG

1.) Felix Hernandez
King Felix gets it done this year. He had a freakish year last year going 19-5 with a 2.49 ERA. Write down 20 wins this year. His team is better and the Angels are worse. If he stays healthy we’re talking 21-5, a 2.50 ERA, 230 K’s, and a microscopic WHIP. That should be enough to lock up the Cy Young.
2.) Zack Greinke
3.) Jon Lester
4.) CC Sabathia
5.) Justin Verlander
NATIONAL LEAGUE CY YOUNG

1.) Roy Halladay
Let’s be honest here; the guy put up ridiculous numbers in the AL EAST. Now, he’s in the NL EAST, with the pitcher hitting, and with the Nationals, Mets, Braves, and Marlins. I would say the best hitting team in the NL EAST (aside from the Phillies) is comparable to that of the Orioles or Rays. Get the picture? 20 Wins, a 2.40 ERA, and 225 strikeouts will get it done for Doc.
2.) Dan Haren
3.) Adam Wainwright
4.) Josh Johnson
5.) Tim Lincecum.
