The 2nd installment of pre-season Baseball Award Predictions, today we will get bold and predict the Manager of the Year award winners for 2010. Here are Unathletic’s predictions…..
AMERICAN LEAGUE MANAGER OF THE YEAR

1.) Don Wakamatsu
He came close last year. Now he has all the pieces he needs to get the Mariners back to the promise land. God forbid they had a big bat in the middle of their lineup. Pitching, defense, and bullpen are right up there with the best. Things to fear. Cliff Lee and Felix Hernandez in a playoff series…..
2.) Joe Girardi
3.) Ron Washington
4.) Ron Gardenhire
5.) Dave Trembley
NATIONAL LEAGUE MANAGER OF THE YEAR

1.) Bruce Bochy
I’m going to take a shot and say the Giants win the West this year, and Bochy reaps the rewards. This is an up and coming team with great pitching, and some good bats. The West is weak, I think the Giants could do the damn thing. Plus they have Barry f’in Zito ya dig?
2.) Fredi Gonzalez
3.) Tony La Russa
4.) Charlie Manuel
5.) Dusty Baker
