The 3rd installment of pre-season Baseball Award Predictions, today we will get bold and predict the Rookie of the Year award winners for 2010. Here are Unathletic’s predictions…..
AMERICAN LEAGUE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

1.) Neftali Feliz
Please refer to 2009 statistics out of the bullpen….31 innings pitched, 39 K’s. 1.74 ERA, .68 WHIP, .124 BAA. Just for perspective, Tim Lincecum’s BAA was .206. If he becomes a started, stays healthy, and doesn’t lose his mojo, you can write it down.
2.) Scott Sizemore
3.) Brian Matusz
4.) Josh Reddick
5.) Michael Brantley
NATIONAL LEAGUE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

1.) Stephen Strasburg
Let’s face it. The guy has ridiculous stuff, and the Nationals suck enough that he’ll be up to sell tickets before you know it. He’s a stud muffin. Surely, he’ll experience his lumps, but his numbers will be good enough to secure him ROY.
2.) Eric Young Jr.
3.) Buster Posey
4.) Jason Heyward (If he gets the nod)
5.) Gaby Sanchez
