Michigan will be playing their first night game at the Big House in 2011. Their opponent; Notre Dame. One would think that Michigan has been playing night games all along at home, but if you thought that you’d be grossly wrong. The Saturday Night Primetime game will be a huge event for both programs, and also the first ever home night game for the Wolverines.
Notre Dame and Michigan have played at night 3 times in their history with the Irish taking all three contests. The UM vs. ND rivalry will continue until 2017, when they will take two years off to play other teams. The Michigan AD said the following about the big game….
“For us, it’s an experiment,” he said Thursday. “If all goes well, we’d like to have one game a year at night at Michigan Stadium.”
Boy does he sound excited! The Big House holds 100,000 people. The night scene could be crazy. Especially, the students section. My guess is there should be a couple drunk fans in the stadium. Michigan is a big time program, it’s about time they stepped into the modern era.

I think this is awesome. It shouldn’t matter for ND though. But for michigan, it will be a special night. I read this article then yelled for my dad to come in to read it too, then we both jumped for joy.
GOBLUE- this should mean another win for the champs!!!
