I’m not quite sure when the tradition of having someone throw out the first pitch at a Major League Baseball game began, but I certainly can’t remember a time when it didn’t happen. Supposedly it’s some sort of honor to stand before thousands of fans and toss the ball about 40 feet (only Bushie uses the rubber), but it’s absolutely incredible at how many people make this simple task look like it’s tougher than brain surgery. Even our president had a tough time.
Anyway, after the jump, enjoy some of the best (and of course, the worst) first pitches in baseball.
