T.O. TO COMPLETE REDSKINS PUZZLE?

Donovan McNabb has been traded to the Washington Redskins in one of the most mind-boggling trades I’ve seen in my existence. Philadelphia ran the Pro Bowler out of town on the hopes that Kevin Kolb is the next Joe Montana.  The Eagles contend they wanted to honor what McNabb has done for the organization and in doing so approved a traded to the NFC EAST rival Redskins. That was awfully nice of them. They potentially have gone from 1st to 3rd in the division in one day.

If anyone can make chicken salad out of chicken shit it’s Donovan McNabb. Aside from last year, and a year with T.O. the guy has had virtually no offensive talent around him besides oft-injured Brian Westbrook. He now enters a similar situation with the Redskins. They have Portis, Johnson, and Parker at running back. Chris Cooley and Santana Moss are respectable pass catchers, and the organization still has high expectations for Malcolm Kelly. They are just missing that one piece to the puzzle. That piece is……… Terrell Owens.

First, Dan Snyder will spend. They will most likely draft a lineman to protect McNabb with their high first round pick. If they sign T.O. things will start to look very good in D.C. Forget about his last year in the abyss of Buffalo. The guy can still get it done and there are enough pieces around him that he won’t draw all the attention. Put that offense with a defense that has talent and underachieved last year and suddenly this is a very good football team.

Hell, T.O. and McNabb patched things up and talked about a reunion. No better time is now, Mr. Snyder. This is a logical fit, and like I said, could make this team formidable.
