David Ortiz simply can’t handle criticism.  Already he’s flipping out at reporters who question his slow (and presumably  steroid-free) start.  After losing to the Yankees last night, he got his panties in a bunch.

“Good,” he said, turning to face the reporters encircling him. “You guys wait till [expletive] happens, then you can talk [expletive]. Two [expletive] games, and already you [expletives] are going crazy.

“What’s up with that, man? [Expletive]. [Expletive] 160 games left. That’s a [expletive]. One of you [expletives] got to go ahead and hit for me.”

Nothing new to see here.  I don’t understand how this guy can be such a fan favorite when in actuality he’s a tempestuous asshole who can’t handle any sort of criticism.  I mean, this is a guy who whined about teams using a defense shift on him.  Instead of crying, how about learning to hit the ball the other way?  We’re also talking about a guy who spent all of 2004 campaigning for an MVP award, yet he’s the ultimate team player and A-Rod is a selfish phony.  Whatever.  Black Shrek’s days are numbered and it’s only a matter of time before the racist city of Boston turns on him for good.
