The above video of Barcelona trashing Arsenal is a couple weeks old, but still serves as good evidence that Lionel Messi is currently the best player in the world. Fresh off of a win against Cristiano Ronaldo’s Real Madrid team, the Barcelona striker has staked his claim at the top.
It seems as if Messi nets goal(s) in every big game his team plays. FC Barcelona sits atop La Liga and maybe the world as the best club team going and he is a large reason why. Messi’s 27 goals is most by a nice cushion this year in Spain.
Perhaps we should start paying attention to Argentina this summer. They have Messi and Higuain (the second leading scorer in La Liga) up front, not to forget Carlos Tevez a top scorer in the EPL. To be continued…..
