I am appalled by this piece of “reporting”! Please do your research next time! The first 4 photos, including the main one at the start of this article are not of Code Red. The last batch show some of our girls training in the cheer gym and getting ready for a Regional Competition (Which we won and then went on to win Nationals.)

My girls are hard working, talented and dedicated dancers and cheerleaders, not hungover party girls, or amateur porn stars like that blonde that you feature.

Moreover, next time you want to poke fun at Staten Island’s football team, please keep in mind that they are currently ranked #1 in the nation and are currently the defending National Champions. Yeah, that’s pretty “unathletic”!

Nattyb, I applaud you in your efforts at blogging. As we all know, these types of forums are extremely popular and can lead to great entertainment for the general public. But I must admit it saddens me to see that you have either 1) been clearly misinformed about NY Predators & Code Red 2) have a personal grudge against the Code Red Dance Team and/or 3) would allow your opportunity at witty lighthearted blogging become a forum for lies, slander and theft!

As a member of the Code Red Dance Team I will tell you that the ladies whom participate the team are beautiful, educated and hold themselves to a higher standard than what you referred to as ‘a bunch of party girls who are average looking and hungover’. The group of young ladies that comprise the team are terribly hurt and offended by your post, and rightly so! These are women who have spend the better part of their lives dedicated to the art of dance and the very athletic sport of cheerleading. It would be wise for you to do a little research on both, then and only then will you have the slightest clue about how taxing both of these activities can be on the body.

I reference to the pictures (including those of CR that you have used without permission and I advise you to remove), there are a few you have posted that include women who have never been a part of the Code Red Dance Team. As for the last few, they clearly show agile athletes, a dance team in uniform & makeup and prep time (albeit with a silly face, sue us for a sense of humor)!

With all that being said, I hope that in the time that has lapsed between your blog post bashing Code Red and my response you have grown as a blogger. Writing slanderous and fictitious information in any forum is cowardly!

Nice job with the rewording, however we demanded the article be taken down and an apology to be issued…Furthermore, the pictures of our squad need to be removed, along with anything naming our team and associating it with those other photos of girls who are in no way associated with our team…PS, you might want to get MTV’s permission to use the photo from their show, “True Life: I’m a Staten Island Girl”, I’d offer to help but I DONT KNOW HER SINCE SHE IS NOT A MEMBER OF CODE RED.

Would you like a picture of our National Championship trophy to add to your wonderful piece of journalism, which was supposed to be removed by yesterday????
