A week after posting a “5 hot Golfers” article, one of the 5, Erica Blasberg, was been found dead in a Las Vegas suburb on Sunday. It isn’t clear whether or not there is foul play involved around this odd death. Blasberg was 25 years old at the time, and had only played in one LPGA event this year two weeks ago in Mexico. She finished 44th.

Blasberg was a successful collegiate golfer at the University of Arizona. She had one 6 times and played on the Curtis Cup team in 2004. She was well-liked on the tour, and her loss will be felt throughout the LPGA.

There have been no details reported yet on Blasberg’s death. It was first reported by Golfweek magazine.
