Honestly I don’t understand how leagues like the AFL stay in business.  This isn’t a knock on these guys by any means.  I mean most of these guys are tremendous athletes and some even make it to the pros but I just don’t understand how they make enough money to stay alive.

It’s kind of like any semi pro league.  Sure I can appreciate the minor leagues in baseball and even the NBDL but as a fan I don’t think I’d ever attend one of these games.  I’m glad there are people out there not like me though because these leagues do stay in business.

One contributing factor has got to be the increasing attractiveness of the cheerleaders.  Take some of these AFL girls for example….
