I don’t think LeBron’s lawyer is very familiar with the type of athletes that play professional sports.

LeBron James’ attorney has fired off a cease and desist email — finally denying the fast-spreading, and disturbing rumor of a sex scandal involving LeBron’s mom and his teammate Delonte West.

TMZ obtained a copy of the email sent to terezowens.com — the sports blog that first reported on Friday that LeBron’s mother Gloria was allegedly sleeping with Delonte.  In the email, Frederick Nance — attorney for LeBron and Gloria — says the report is “categorically false and per se defamatory.”   Nance adds, “No thinking person could possibly believe such rubbish.”

Oh, really, Mr. Nance? No thinking could possibly believe that an NBA player is sleeping with his teammate’s mom? Right, because that’s just sooo out there in the world of professional sports. How many athletes have fathered more illegitimate kids than they can count with numerous mothers? How many athletes have taken estrogen pills to gain a competitive advantage? How many athletes have broken into apartments and shit in laundry baskets? How many athletes have committed double murder only to get away with it and then find themselves in jail for a different crime years later? How many athletes have tried to set lawn workers on fire for swimming in a pool without permission?  How many athletes shot limo drivers and then covered the whole thing up?

Yeah, a player sleeping with a teammates’ mom is beyond belief.  Silly.
