Redskins Haynesworth Football

It fascinates me that upper management of professional sports franchises can make such huge blunders with millions and millions of dollars. Personally, if I was going to shell out $21 mil I would really make sure the individual on the receiving end passed the character test. Albert Haynesworth has failed, and failed miserably.

The Redskins gave Haynesworth the richest contract for a defensive player in the history of the NFL. The return on their investment… indigestion and a lot of sleepless nights. Based on prior performance, Haynesworth was considered an elite defensive player in the NFL. That’s great. However, the writing was on the wall with this guy. He’s a low life, with absolutely no character, and because that was evident such an investment is just too risky.

So where are we today. The Redskins want to recoup some of their $21 mil bonus they gave him. His teammates are calling him out, and he wants to be traded. He’s managed to stick out in a league full of pieces of shit. Football careers don’t last forever my friend. So from the writing staff at Unathletic, we wish you nothing but the best Albert. Karma is a motherfucker.
