…… I’m not even sure they know how fucked they really are. They’ve basically fallen to the back of the pack in the Lebron race to teams like Chicago, Miami, Cleveland, and my dark horse Washington. The appeal to play in New York isn’t like the Yankees. Not even close..

The Knicks have room for two max contracts and a fan base that wants something now. Unfortunately, it would behoove them to not do a DAMN thing this year if they don’t get Lebron. They aren’t gettingĀ  D. Wade. Bosh wants to play with Wade or Lebron, and everyone else out there won’t help you win a championship. They are in the running to sign Joe Johnson. That’s great. Joe Johnson and A’mare Stoudemire (who will resign with Phoenix) isn’t going to get you shit. All other combinations out there, aren’t going to get you shit.

There really isn’t much hope here. At the end of the day you get a sense that the Knicks just aren’t carrying enough clout with MSG and the Big Apple as their big sell. I think the Knicks would be making a huge huge huge mistake if they signed players not named James, Wade, or Bosh to big contracts. It’d be Allan Houston all over again. Their best course of action is to run a shit pie team out there, draft well and go after Carmelo and somebody else.

Either way, when Lebron inks elsewhere it’s going to be a sad sad day in New York.

What a horribly written piece. You really expect people to take something like this seriously? Are you 16? i hope so cause if you’re any older then garbage like this is even worse.

Draft well? With what picks sir? If you recall the Knicks dont have a solid first round pick for another 3 years thanks to the McGrady trade.
Sign Johnson and Lee, trade for Chris Paul

They will be alright considering what they been through in the last 15 years they will be alright, now if they dont sign lebron or bosh then they should run any of those college kids that werent drafted along with some D leaguers for 2010 and see who will come out a star and then sign next years FA class of carmelo and durant or paul if they opt out.

Trade what for Chris Paul… Draft well, Draft smart… they don’t have a solid first round pick but they have picks. They are going to sign stars not draft them
