FBL-WC2010-FRA-PLAYERS

The World Cup is a once every 4 year event, in which men get to represent their country. The French National Team is failing. They are squandering an opportunity that some will never get again, and millions would kill for.

In a span of 48 hours, the French team has completely crumbled. Undoubtedly, it’s related to their poor performance on the pitch, however in an arena as large as this there are simply no excuses. First, Nicholas Anelka was booted from the team for arguing with Coach Raymond Domenech. The following day Capt. Patrice Evra and fitness Coach Robert Duverne began to argue before practice, which eventually led to everyone walking off the practice field.

It’s really shameful sequence of events for the Les Bleus. One can’t feel bad for the fans of the nation who have waited 4 years for their team to compete again. The whole “Ego” nonsense plagues the entire world of sports and no event is big enough to cure it.

Marineritas_5

We tend to show plenty of sexy girls on this site.  But all in all we still consider ourselves a sports site.  I mean come on folks.  We cover the latest stories and events but it’s not like hot chicks aren’t a huge part of the sporting world.  But in all honesty somewhere I think you kind of have to tow the line a little right?

Well, something is going on over in Europe that has definitely crossed the line and clearly we’re going to expose that hear today.  Has anyone heard of the girls of Las Marineritas De Almirante Brown?”

They are an Argentinian cheerleading squad that is honestly no different that a team of Go-Go dancers stripping in front of thousands of people.  No, they don’t get nude but I mean come on…..

The video is kind of pointless, I understand that. It’s better than a picture though. This weekend the University of Akron held a “Lebron Appreciation Day” A nice gesture.. I guess. More of an attempt to remind Lebron that Ohio is his home and he should stay with the Cavaliers than anything else.

Lebron was not scheduled to attend the event, but as it came to an end and people had already left he made an appearance. He was given a gorgeous crystal trophy and was gone in minutes. Nice of him to show up, although I’m not sure this may have been anything more than a “Thank you for everything, I’m outta here”. Lebron did say….

Akron is my home, it’s my life. Everything I do is for this city. I’m going to continue to do great things. I love every last one of all of you. Akron is home

I’m telling you. He’s outta there. That was a goodbye

As you may or may not know this site is one of the best if not best portals for getting a good look at cheerleading audition photos.  And while most we’ve shared have been in the sports of basketball or football, hockey has its fair share of auditions as well.

While hockey isn’t a sport I particularly enjoy, I’m quite impressed with the advancements in the cheering world.  Let’s take the Atlanta Thrasher’s Blue Crew for example.  It’s an added bonus to see a sexy cheerleader on skates don’t you think?

Congrats to the ladies of the new squad and for those of you wanting to see who auditioned (and who was the hottest) we have photos below….

This commercial is pretty cool, and wierd at the same time. The dialogue seems to be a little strange. Are you even allowed to write “smartass” on a commercial. No doubt the soccer skills are pretty good. No need for the flashing of the abs dude.

Redskins Haynesworth Football

It fascinates me that upper management of professional sports franchises can make such huge blunders with millions and millions of dollars. Personally, if I was going to shell out $21 mil I would really make sure the individual on the receiving end passed the character test. Albert Haynesworth has failed, and failed miserably.

The Redskins gave Haynesworth the richest contract for a defensive player in the history of the NFL. The return on their investment… indigestion and a lot of sleepless nights. Based on prior performance, Haynesworth was considered an elite defensive player in the NFL. That’s great. However, the writing was on the wall with this guy. He’s a low life, with absolutely no character, and because that was evident such an investment is just too risky.

So where are we today. The Redskins want to recoup some of their $21 mil bonus they gave him. His teammates are calling him out, and he wants to be traded. He’s managed to stick out in a league full of pieces of shit. Football careers don’t last forever my friend. So from the writing staff at Unathletic, we wish you nothing but the best Albert. Karma is a motherfucker.

Ghana took down their first victory in the 2010 World Cup on a late PK by Asamoah Gyan. If one does there research on Mr. Gyan you will find he is quite the dancer. Cheers to Ghana, and hopefully a few more goals by Asamoah so we can see these sick moves.
