While the Lakers get ready to roll over the Celtics in game 7, other teams around the NBA are focusing on their offseason activities. Specifically cheerleader tryouts. Let’s head on over to the Atlanta Hawks organization shall we? Not only are they in a coaching bind but it appears that the A-Town dancers are in need of some new blood.
Something tells me the girl in the above picture will have no problem making the squad. Personally I couldn’t care less if this girl could dance worth a lick. She’s got my vote.

There was obviously going to be some odd news out of South Africa over the next couple weeks so this should come as no surprise. A Dutch Brewing Company sent 30 Women to the World Cup to advertise their company. South Africa wasn’t really feeling it. To make a long story short, South Africa says ambush marketing is a no-no. The Brewing Company is not allowed to benefit from the event without paying for the advertising.
So, now you have 30 hot chicks in orange mini dresses being sitting in a jail cell? That’s got to be some dudes fantasy somewhere. I guess security is pretty tough in South Africa and FIFA isn’t taking any crap. I have mixed feelings about this… Chicks in mini skirts seem pretty harmless, but if there are two things in this world that I hate it’s people who are intolerant of other people’s cultures and the Dutch.. Bonus points if you can name that quote….

Finally! Two things of note from this story… 1.) Everyone and their mother told Izzo not to take the job. I like Izzo a lot, he belongs at Michigan State. He is great for college basketball. He made the right choice 2.) With this rejection…. I really feel Lebron will NOT be back in Cleveland next season. And that has nothing to do with him wanting to play for Izzo, but more so the “State of the Cavs”

If you’re following the World Cup you hear the name Diego Maradonna a lot. If you’re a relatively new soccer fan you may not know who he is or what the big fuss is about. Read up… [Diego Maradonna] There’s a good chance you definitely didn’t know his hip didn’t lie either. See above video. I was hoping to get some sweet soccer highlights, but this is the first video I found. What the f#$k is this?? The drug stuff with him seems to be explained above. However, I did watch the “Hand of God” and the “Goal of the Century” two of his most famous goals. That was cool
Boxing is relatively popular in Australia (just in case you wanted to know). I guess it makes sense. It’s a culture where hitting and violent behavior is considered “playful.” So why not beat the hell out of each other in the ring where it’s acceptable and even fun!
And of course what comes with boxing? Ring Girls! Yay for ring girls. While these women might not be the UFC Ring Girl caliber I like them better. I just feel like these are the types that grab a beer after each fight. And that means a lot to me.

AL MVP: Mark Teixeira – Hitting .228. He has respectable home run, runs, and RBI numbers, but not anywhere near MVP caliber. His teammate, Robinson Cano, is much closer to Miggy Cabrera for the MVP running.
NL MVP: Albert Pujols – Pujols has good numbers, and probably will still win the MVP. The only reason I mention this is because he was the obvious, risk free pick, and he is having a down year for Pujols standards because of me.
