In my travels around the country, I have been to many a baseball stadium. It’s a right of passage that while at these stadiums you indulge in the “specialty” food that that ballpark is known for. Granted, most of these goodies aren’t the healthiest choices in the world, but hell, they were good. Check ‘em out….
1.) The Schmitter, Citizens Bank Park, Philadelphia, Pa

I live in Philly. Thus, I’ve had a Schmitter too many times. This sandwich is a messy heart attack but it’s delicious. Cheese, Steak, Salami all jammed together on a fresh kaiser. So good, get extra napkins.
2.) Bratwurst with Special Sauce, Miller Park, Milwaukee, WI

We all know about the racing meats at Miller Park in Milwaukee. Well, direct your attention towards the brat and special sauce instead. This isn’t anything unique, but hell is it delicious. The special sauce, which is like ketchup, BBQ, mustard all blended is awesome. Have a cold beer and enjoy the ballpark!
3.) Barbecued Stuffed Potatoes, Minute Maid Park, Houston, TX

These might be my favorite. Just saying….. Ultimate potato right here; Jalapenos, cheese, pork all with BBQ sauce.. Unreal. Awesome with a lemonade.
4.) Zeppole from Mike’s Arthur Ave. Italian Deli, Yankee Stadium, Bronx, NY

My sweet tooth gets the best of me here. These deep fried balls of dough are the best. Sprinkle some powdered sugar on them (or a lot) and add custard or jelly (my recommendation). Heavens, my mouth is watering right now. So delicious.
5.) Crazy Crab’s Crab Sandwich, AT&T Park, San Francisco, CA

Putting this up there as a guy who isn’t a huge seafood guy speaks volumes for this sandwich. It’s absolutely amazing. From the garlic baguette, the Dungeness crab, to the sauce. Unreal, truly just a treat to enjoy at a ballgame.
