All the guys I’ve ever blasted on this website get blasted because they are good enough to get recognition. There is nothing different when it comes to Bryce Harper. Now I know it’s batting practice, and I know this kid is an elite level d-bag, but damn. DAMN.
Harper took BP this weekend with the Nats and put on an absolute show. He was just toying around. When he wanted to jack one he did. When he wanted to just hit one out.. He did. It amazes me. The kid isn’t huge, yet he’s dropping Adam Dunn size bombs. Just a whole heck of a lot of athletic ability here. We’re talking LOADS of ability. It’s a shame he’s such an ass. In football it’s just not talked about, period. Yeah sure there’s some testing going on here and there. On occasion a player will be made an example of. I get that. But come on. Have we really gotten into the steroid issue on the grid iron? We see all these programs and articles related to how unhealthy football players are years after their retirement.
But how about during the season? Playing 16 games (and now possibly 18) is one rigorous year and if you think that comes without inject some kind of needle or taking a few pills to stay afloat then you are surely mistaken. And I’m willing to bet that many of the best quarterbacks of all time partook in this shit too.
