Carmelo Anthony has made it clear he wants out of Denver. His choices.. The Chicago Bulls or New York Knicks? Currently the Bulls are contemplating putting together a package that includes Joakim Noah, but are reluctant to pull the trigger on that one. With Rose, Boozer, and ‘Melo the Bulls look very strong in the East.
The Knicks have yet to put together an enticing offer for the Denver Nuggets forward. As predicted long ago, the Knicks are scrambling right now and if they don’t sign ‘Melo may have given A’mare Stoudemire a huge contract for nothing.
With all the drama that has surrounded ‘Melo this offseason GM Masai Ujiri hasn’t given up hope that Anthony will be back in Denver after next season…..

Now that I say it out loud, I really like ‘Melo, Rose, and Boozer. The Knicks are screwed.
What a total epic fail the World Basketball Championships have been. I read the headlines of the articles. See the US has won behind Durant, and then try and recognize a player from another country mention. The US beat Russia, they’re on their way to the gold. Man, nobody cares.. or as Eminem puts it.
It’s been a big controversy over the past few days/months and honestly I just don’t see the big deal here with Reggie Bush being stripped of the Heisman. It’s not as if I’m a total moron and don’t understand why. It’s got nothing to do with how good a season he had in 2005. In fact I doubt anyone will argue he wasn’t the best football player in the nation that season.
It’s whether or not he was eligible to play due to his infractions. I’ve argued this before and I’ll argue it again. If Reggie Bush took a house, car and buckets of cash and was caught that’s one thing. The crap that he did? Give me a break. And yes I know it all falls under the same bucket but whatever. The amount of money these guys make for other people is gross.
And as Happy puts it in Blue Chips, “we owe it to ‘em!” Guy could get injured and never make the NFL, never get paid and what happens? Others still got rich while the rest of this guy’s life is in the shitter.
So if Reggie is stripped of his Heisman I get it but how about we give some things back to Reggie?

Sid the Kid took batting practice with the Pittsburgh Pirates yesterday, and the young fella did some work. The irony of it all is that the Pirates suck, and don’t have many people on their squad who do, in fact, hit home runs. Than this skinny, hockey player, who hasn’t played baseball since he was 13 in Canada no less, steps up and drops a bomb into the right field seats.

Hey man, when you’re athletic, you’re athletic. It should not go without saying that the BP was set up by former Pirate Sean Casey, who just recently toured Haiti with Max Talbot and Mike Rupp.
I’ve always been a fan of the cheerleaders at Wake Forest but little did I know there were hot chicks on the Volleyball team and just in general. Luckily all three groups were on display at this year’s Wake Forest Fan Fest.
It was a chance for everyone to get together to show some school spirit. That and old men to get out their cameras so they could post pictures of young girls on their social media accounts. Way to go guys!
