My man Norty did a great classic poster article the other day and I thought I would expand on it today. Remember how ridiculous sports posters used to be? I mean they weren’t still shots of players playing their respective sports. The posters were lavish movie type set ups.
Remember the Lawrence Taylor terminator one? Man that was classic. In today’s day these things don’t even look real. They practically look photoshopped by today’s standards.

The image you see above is what Michael Phelps consumes on a daily basis when he is training. Looks pretty good doesn’t it? I recently linked an article about Mike Tyson’s diet on the Press and all he ate was steak and pasta. When you are training hardcore you can eat a ton of calories and your body will use them all. Phelps’ diet was over 10,000 calories of pasta’s, french toast, sandwiches, egg sandwiches, pizza and more. Here are some more peculiar eating habits of athletes……

Donovan McNabb backed teammate Albert Haynesworth despite all the nonsense surrounding the filthy rich defensive lineman. The same Donovan McNabb that would not go to bat for his former teammate Terrell Owens when both were on the Eagles. This time McNabb made it very clear he wants Haynesworth in a Redskins uniform this season….
We can’t win without Albert. He plays a major part on our defense, and everyone knows that. It’s just unfortunate what’s been going on and how everything has transpired, but that’s the game of football, and I think he’ll handle it the right way. … I think he’ll be here. I hope he’ll be here. … As a player, you would want Albert to be here.
I am certain the same could have been said about T.O. when he was an Eagle. However, I am not certain Haynesworth is the lesser of two evils in this case. T.O. bitched and moaned, but you couldn’t question his work ethic and effort. I understand Donovan is in a new place and needs to suck up and look like a team player, but as a leader of a team in both scenarios I don’t understand why he’d back Haynesworth and not T.O. Oh well, Albert Haynesworth is still a piece of shit in my eyes, and so is T.O. for that matter.
Is this chick trying to be awkward? This is just stupid. I mean if this is suppose to be intentional for comedic purposes its a complete fail. I have no doubts Eli is awkward, but this is just stupid. Sweet questions.
I guess if it weren’t for perverted dudes out there I wouldn’t even get to post pictures like this but I don’t know where you draw the line. The guy who took these pictures calls himself “Monica’s Dad.” I’m pretty sure he might be the father of one of the Cal Cheerleaders. And when you look at his Flickr account it’s all pictures of cheerleaders.
But the kinds of pictures that you know, we like, not that a dad should be posting online. I supposed I’ll let all that go to a judge and not worry about it. I just know that the Cal Bears girls look pretty hot this year.

Corey Pavin released his Ryder Cup picks much to the chagrin of woman activists all over the country yesterday. It appears as if Tiger wasn’t even in question all along in Pavin’s mind. Ricky Fowler, on the other hand, was a controversial selection that Pavin called a “gut feeling”. I am very glad he picked Cink and Johnson. Now the attention is going to be on Tiger. He was invited to the Dance, can he make it hot? Rest assured he will be the focal point for the next 3 weeks (he probably would be anyway). If I had to pick 5 golfers for an “Unathletic Ryder Cup Team” using every golfer in the history of golf here is who I’d take………….
I’d like to start off this article by saying I have the utmost respect for women. I also have a ton of respect for the WNBA. There’s nothing wrong with having a league, getting sponsors, paying the players, trying to fill up seats, etc etc. I just don’t understand why people go to actually watch the games.
Let’s face it people. It’s just not fun. I literally tried watching two minutes of a game over the weekend and I just couldn’t stomach it. It’s like watching a middle school boys game. The missed shots aren’t missed shots. They are bricks. There’s no dunking, and it’s just not fun to watch.
Why watch the WNBA when there’s Men’s college hoops and the NBA out there? As such I’ve decided to come up with five sports that are more entertaining….
