I go back and forth on the issue of Boise State and playing for a National Championship. I think they’re a great team. They can beat anybody on any given Saturday. Do I think they could go through a power conference schedule without a trip up, probably not. That’s why it’s unfair to other teams. Don’t get me wrong, they’re a great team. Definitely top 5 in the country. The difference is they don’t play teams that can beat them almost every weekend during conference play, and there should be a slight penalty for that. In the end, I won’t be complaining if they play for the National Championship.

Poor Plax, guy was just chillen in the club and shot himself. Now he’s in jail, and commercials are being made to make fun of him. It’s a shame.

Honestly I don’t think there’s too much going on over at ESU. I mean can there be? I have no idea. But I’ll tell you this. Recently getting a visit from the Eagles Cheerleaders probably gave them some life. I can honestly tell you that I would never, ever go get autographs from anyone, not even the biggest celebrities.
I’m not the type that would ever show up at book signings and stuff like that. But I can honestly tell you that if the Eagles Cheerleaders make an appearance within one hour’s driving distance from my house then I will have to show up.
You will see why from these pictures….
Matty Ballgame got his himself out of Arizona. Now he’s in Houston as a third string soon to be back-up quarterback. Ah, that’s better. He had a better shot at starting in Arizona if he just kept his mouth shut and worked hard. Then again, Matt Schaub usually gets hurt, and he’ll jump Dan Orlovsky. Maybe he’ll get a chance to throw the ball to the manbeast, Andre Johnson.
With the Leinart signing the Texans booted John David Booty (hehe) another USC product. That’s Matty Ballgame. He doesn’t give a shit about fellow alumns! The Cards were relieved of the $2.5 mil they owe him. The details of the 1-year deal with the Texans were not disclosed.

After reading about how the French soccer coach is making his boys learn the National Anthem it made me wonder what other athletes out there actually know their national anthems. I mean when you really think about it you just don’t know. We learn it from the stands. We kind of pick up the lyrics through the years.
But the only way to really know is looking at the sidelines to see if their mouthing the words. Or another way to know is if these guys actually got up to the podium to sing the damn thing.
Here’s a look at when athletes give the National Anthem a try….

Y!Sports posted a high school football video last week that was probably one of the dumbest plays I have ever seen. That, of course, got me wondering about other dumb plays in the history of sports. If you read my articles, you know that I very rarely praise the intellectual capacity of athletes. Well, here’s living proof amigos….
