It must be nice to be a cheerleader for a solid athletic program. However, I’m not sure how life is for Kansas Cheerleading is during football season. Football isn’t always the greatest sport for the Jayhawks, basketball is.
Then again being a student for Kansas, one should not care. It’s the uniforms and pom poms that make all the difference. So when I got to see these ladies in action vs. Georgia Tech I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I live in Philadelphia. Not a Philly sports fan, but I do listen to Philadelphia sports radio as insufferable as it may be. The Phillies and their fan base have completely, COMPLETELY overlooked the Reds. So yesterday, in a moment of irrationality I decided to toss down a nice sum on the Reds to take out the defending National League Champs at +275.
The Reds don’t have much experience aside from OC and Arroyo, but what they do have is lefty bullpen studs. This is my X factor. Aroldis Chapman, and Arthur Rhodes to shut down the big bats in late innings. If somehow, someway Volquez, Cueto, and Arroyo can keep them in it. The Reds can get to the Phillies bullpen and shut down their lefties.
I convinced myself it was worth a shot…
High school sports are something I cannot bare to watch. The skill level isn’t high enough but whenever I get hold of a game on TV it reminds me of my own playing days.
Granted I was nothing special back then but I still miss it dearly. And to be honest, there are some things about high school sports that I’ll never have again hence I’ll always be nostalgic.
Here are five that come to mind….
I always thought powder puff was the dumbest thing in the world. It’s a joke to the entire world. The sad thing is chicks take it seriously and try to kick ass only making them look more foolish. The only thing I’ll concede is that sometimes the chicks look sexy. Other than that, its a total debacle. Well, it gives me great pleasure to present you will a video gallery of chicks spazzing out during powder puff football. Just so we are clear… we are not laughing with you… we are laughing at you.

The suspense was building on this one. I thought shit was about to go down.
