They know how to do it down in Alabama. Even at the community colleges. Just ask the student at Faulkner State. Yup, they have sports teams and everything. Hell they even have a cheerleading squad. Not exactly sure how hot it is but it’s a cheerleading squad nonetheless.
I’d like you people to be the true judges of the quality of this team. I’m guessing they drink a ton so no matter what they look like, who cares? It’s a community college so it’s all good.

It’s going to be an interesting season in the NBA to say the least. There are just so many plot lines and pre season hype isn’t nearly over yet. I’m very curious to see who comes out of the East.
Personally I’d love to just watch the Lakers win it all again and let Kobe get the last laugh (then go out and rape someone). But I tell you the older I get the easier it is to hate players. Bunch of young punks if you ask me.

The baseball playoff schedule is set to kick off Wednesday. Phillies vs. Reds, Giants vs. Braves, Yankees vs. Twins, and Rays vs. Rangers. Every year a new story is written, and this year should be no different. There are a ton of impact players on each of the 8 teams, however there are a select 5 guys that we at Unathletic think will have their own story when it’s all said and done.

Europe was in control of the Cup for most of the tournament, but the US was able to make things interesting on the last day. I’m sure the US would like a red0 on that third session. Tiger and Phil won today, but other than that were pretty ineffective.

Carlos Gonzalez is going to turn 25 years old this month. He has been traded twice at the big league level in 4 years. Something tells me that Cargo isn’t going anywhere for a while these days. The Rockies outfielder finished the 2010 season hitting a league best .336. Oh, and he also hit 34 home runs, drove in 117 RBIs, scored 111 runs, and stole 26 bases. Numbers worthy of an MVP award.
Gonzalez started in the Arizona Diamondbacks organization until he was involved in a deal in 2007 that sent him, Brett Anderson and others to Oakland for Dan Haren. Now he’s in the same division as the Diamondbacks, and Haren is on the Angels. Strike 1.
Oakland, lacking patience, got greedy and then spun Gonzalez to Colorado in 2008 after a crappy year for Matt Holliday. What appeared to be a good deal on paper, didn’t turn out that way. Holliday is now on the Cardinals. Strike 2.
Something tells me Strike 3 may not come, or at least not for a while. My feeling is, financials aside, Cargo will remain in Colorado for a bit. The question is are these numbers going to become an every year thing for him? If they do, Arizona and Oakland will have frowny faces:(
Let me ask you guys a question. Scratch that. I’m going to ask myself a question. Is there ever not a good time to post pictures of the Houston Texans Cheerleaders? The answer is a definitive no. I’m about to say something vile and I don’t care.
If every single one of these girls was on their period and they forgot to use their pads and they all came out to the field to cheer on a lonely Sunday I’d still be putting them up on this site. They’re that hot.

I’m not the type of sports fan who nitpicks over announcers. Joe Buck, Jim Nantz, whoever. It doesn’t really make a difference to me. I do have my preferences, but there aren’t many guys out there that bother me. Cris Collinsworth does kind of annoy me though.
John Malkovich is in an upcoming movie, and in the commercials he looks pretty funny. It got me thinking. Malkovich has played some sick characters. Cyrus the Virus, Teddy KGB to name a few. How awesome would it be if Teddy KGB and all his sayings was announcing Monday Night Football right now?

Everyone has players they like to root for. For one reason or another we have our reasons. So far it’s been a fun year to watch in the NFL and I have to admit I have my share of guys that I like and my share of dudes that I truly despise.
But I’ll also admit that despite liking or disliking someone it doesn’t really factor into whether or not I’d root for them. For that to happen it’s gotta be a certain set of circumstances.
