Mutton busting is an event held at rodeos similar to bull riding or bronc riding. In the event, a sheep is held still, either in a small chute or by an adult handler while a child is placed on top in a riding position. Once the child is seated atop the sheep, the sheep is released and usually starts to run in an attempt to get the child off. Often small prizes or ribbons are given out to the children who can stay on the longest. There are no set rules for mutton busting, no national organization, and most events are organized at the local level.
The vast majority of children participating in the event fall off in less than 8 seconds. Age, height and weight restrictions on participants generally prevent injuries to the sheep,[1] and implements such as spurs are banned from use. In most cases, children are required to wear helmets and parents are often asked to sign waivers to protect the rodeo from legal action in that event.
I mean… what can I say about this. I know it promotes rough stock riding, and rodeo events, but what kind of parent does this to their child? Does the kid get amped for this or are they dragged by the ear? Please watch the videos, they are just hilarious and mind-boggling at the same time. The stadiums are packed!!

The Galactic Dancers are a professional dance team of 32 very attractive young girls. The girls cheered the football fans at the “GERMAN BOWL XXXII in the Commerzbank Arena in Frankfurt. Isn’t that lovely?

Many athletes are just too damned young to understand the value of money. They wind up spending millions on unnecessary crap and many wind up either owing millions or declaring bankruptcy. It’s really a sad state of affairs.
To be honest with you I think it really comes down to two things: greed and a lack of education about finance. Now, these are very general guidelines but if athletes follow this five step guide they’ll have no financial issues…ever.

I enjoyed the exchange between between Young and Millen on this link. Steve Young is the poster boy for concussions so you have to side with his argument. Not sure the NFL will find success with this, and what it will do is create more issues, but the issues are worth less injuries for sure.
