Home_Depot_5

I’m not 100% sure how much more I can harp on how little I like soccer but it’s getting too difficult to argue against the sport when A.  players get hotter girls in soccer than in any other sport and B.  the cheerleaders look like this.

And let’s add a C here.   Home Depot?  Pushing sex?  You gotta love that.  Home improvement is taking on a whole new meaning here.  I must say I thoroughly enjoy this.

Well actually, I enjoy these girls….

Cliff Lee just put one big nail in the coffin of the Bronx Bombers. AJB could drive a hammer into it tonight if he continues his trend of poor outings.

Should we be concerned AJB was late for his press conference because he was Halloween shopping with his kids?

Probably. I know he’s been able to tune out criticism, but it’s impossible to believe the Yankees are going to get 8 innings of shut out ball tonight. It’s amazing how the media thought the Yankees pitching was on the come up after they shut down a mediocre Twins offense. They aren’t singing that same tune today…..

The problem really is the offense. They did rally in Game 1. That’s about it. Nothing from Tex, Swish, A-rod, Jeter, Posada, or Granderson. Tex and A-rod aren’t the big booming 3-4 hitters you expected. The fact of the matter is; the Yankees are facing Tommy Hunter tonight, not Cliff Lee. Even if Burnett goes 6 and gives up 4, they should be winning. The offense needs to take the attention of AJB, and I’m not sure they will tonight…

CORRECTION Shaq VS

I’m sitting here on a Sunday completely bored.  Yes I’ve post dated this article so that it’s showing up today.  The point is this.  Sometimes while I”m waiting to watch football I get a little depressed because I know I”m not playing any sports today.    It’s kind of sad really.  And I don’t have much to cheer me up.

However, today I had a few realizations that made me feel a tiny bit better.  I know that I can beat Shaquille O’Neal at certain sports.  My real hope in this article is that Shaq gets wind of this stuff and challenges me on his show so I can get a cheat shot at being on television.  It’s pathetic I know but like I said, I’m bored.

You up for the challenge big man?  I can beat you at the following sports….

Was there really any doubt the Phillies would even the series? Even when the game was tied, you just had this feeling there was no way the team was going down 0-2 in the series. If you’re a Phillies fan you have to be thinking big things…

wayne-rooney

Manchester United’s star striker’s days maybe numbered with the club. After speculation that Rooney and Boss Sir Alex Ferguson have not spoken for weeks, it is believed that the two could be headed for a tumultuous split. The rift allegedly stems from the rumors of Rooney cheating on his wife with prostitutes. Regardless, it appears as if Rooney may be shopped to Real, Barcelona, and even filthy rich Man. City.

Speculated by the times…..

The prospect of Rooney crossing Manchester to sign for City—a transfer which would horrify United fans—was also possible, the Times said.

“If hypothetically speaking, the situation has not been resolved by January and City offer 45 million pounds for a player who is at odds with his manager and whose contract is running down, could (United) really say no?,” the paper asked.

As the article states, Real Madrid is unlikely because of the presense of Gonzalo Higuain and Ronaldo. Can you ever have enough talent? The loss of Rooney would be a crushing blow to United. He is their most talented player and is just hitting his prime. Strange days in the EPL……

Omaha_Nighthawks_Cheerleaders_8

I think it might be time for me to take a break from the NFL for a little bit.  Oh I’m not talking about watching the game or ogling over the cheerleaders.  I’m talking about how every single day I’m picking one cheerleading team over the next.  Not that it’s a bad thing but it’s time to search for some new blood.

Today I bring you the ladies of the UFL Squad’s Omaha Nighthawks.   Yippee!  These chicks are cute in their own right.  And on a cold night in Nebraska these are just the types I’d like to saddle up next to.

More pictures after the jump….and thanks to SC Hargis for these.
