I’m not sure how lucrative the boxing business is these days but I do know this:  there hasn’t been a polarizing heavyweight in boxing since Lennox Lewis and that feels like ages ago.   And now that guys like Evander Holyfield are 80 and still bustling around out there, I’m not sure there’s anything interesting in the heavyweight division.  Is is just the fact that there’s no one in this division worth writing home about?

I feel like middleweights and even lightweights can draw a big crowd but the heavyweight division absolutely sucks.  Who in the hell are these guys?  With all due respect, a white dude is the champ?  I mean two white dudes? And it’s not exploited more?  How is this possible?

What is the boxing community doing out there?  Are they embracing the UFC?  I just feel like something is amiss…..

Does anyone remember that Vitali Klitschko beat the ever living shit out of Lennox Lewis before the fight was stopped on a technicality?  Yeah sure his face was absolutely disgusting and it probably shouldn’t have even been aired on television but there’s no mistaking who was winning that fight.  Currently Vitali is the WBC Champ.

And now years later his brother Wladmir is another world champ and no one is making a big deal out of this?  Am I wrong here?  Is mixed martial arts that big a business that boxing doesn’t give a shit about its heavyweight division?

And when is the last time a white dude was champ let alone two white guys?  How are we not getting two brothers to square off?  Well I guess if $100 million by Don King in 2008 couldn’t get them to do it then I don’t know what can.  However, someone out there has the power to coerce these guys into fighting.  I refuse to believe otherwise.  I can’t remember the last time I had any desire to watch a heavyweight fight.  It’s truly pathetic.

How is the Drago angle not being presented?  Something, anything!

Hell get Shaq to fight one of these guys.  Do a little Shaq Vs. or something.   Honestly I don’t really know what to say but the fact that the Klitschko’s haven’t been marketed more is a mystery to me.   And that they haven’t fought yet is just plain retarded.
