Personally, I’ve never been compelled to get up during a sporting event and dance. I can understand if a nice jam comes on and you start feeling it. Maybe you’ve had a few drinks, your judgement is a little skewed, so you think what could possibly go wrong if I got up and let the beat take me…

Mike Wilbon put it best in his article in the Washington Post when he summed up the Redskins as a theater of the absurd. Wilbon writes,
There couldn’t be a stranger string of events, really, from the inexcusable benching of Donovan McNabb in Detroit to the bogus reasons given later to the Washington Redskins signing the same quarterback to a $78 million contract extension to the historically lopsided butt kicking McNabb’s old team laid on the Redskins on Monday night for the whole nation to see.
It’s truly amazing. Dan Snyder after sinking all this money into the Redskins has this to look at every week. It’s hard to deny he could be the worst owner in all of sports. You would think an owner who is willing to spend is the guy you want running the team, but man he couldn’t make a good decision if it hit him in the head. Last night was an absolute joke. The team has become a joke. Great article by Wilbon, though.

The Cowboys busted the Giants’ ass yesterday. They played pretty well defensively, and the offense looked potent. The explanation…. Jason Garrett was sand baggin’! He was holding back with his play calling so the Cowboys would lose and Wade Phillips would get fired. This way he looks like the man. He looks like the right guy for the team. The players are rallying around him, and playing for him!
I don’t believe a word of what I just typed. However, that was a different Cowboys team out there yesterday. Or maybe the Giants horrific defensive performance would lead us to believe that….
