It’s time! NCAA preseason tournaments! College Football! NFL Thanksgiving football! Amen.
Man, I love this time of year. College basketball starts this week. I am thrilled to death. Anything to save me from the bloody NBA. College basketball season comes in at the perfect time. I love the tournaments around Thanksgiving. This is going to be awesome.
With the season about to tip off, Unathletic is going to lay out it’s Final Four picks for this season. My predictions are either right on point, or in no man’s land. Here we goooo….
If you were to sum up the last 50 years of the NBA using only Sports Illustrated album covers, how would you do it? That’s the task I decided to give myself. The league has seen it’s share of ups and downs, amazing feats, and personal accomplishments. So considering there were nearly 300 covers to choose from, it was tough to narrow it to twenty five.

Exciting times for the CheckMates, the Dance Team for the Charlotte Checkers. The team moved up to the AHL this season. The move meant new team colors and new uniforms for the squad. And second-year veteran London is profiled at GoCheckers.com.
All I know is that this team is very very hot. You tack on the cute British accents and you’ve got yourself a squad worth remembering.

Wade Phillips is finally out. Jason Garrett, for lack of a better choice, takes over for the rest of the season. Talk about a suck job. There is no way Jerry Jones is going to give Garrett the head job permanently. The team he is taking over for is in shambles. It’s just a no-win for Garrett. What does he do after this? Go back to being offensive coordinator. I don’t think so.
Fact is; the Cowboys aren’t going to go 8-0 to finish the season. Garrett’s head coaching sex appeal can do nothing but take a hit from this experience in my opinion. With his brand new stadium, and his big-time attitude Jerry Jones is going to want to hire a big time name for his coach. Garrett isn’t that guy.
The Cowboys will finish the season with a couple wins. Garrett will do a commendable job, and this offseason he’ll be looking for a new job somewhere else.
It’s hard not to get excited when you feel the big win within your grasp. BUT, it’s imperative that you make sure time has run out and the game is over…..

Did anyone hear about this? Yeah so it turns out a couple of weeks ago in China a bullfight happened. OK I didn’t even know bullfighting existed in China let alone something like this happening.
When the bull was defeated it proceeded to rush into the stands and attack the audience. Needless to say I think the bull was executed. Luckily only one person was injured.
Also luckily is the fact that we have pictures of the “event.”
