(2) Georgetown -2 vs. Notre Dame 7:00 PM – Tough spot for the Hoyas, but favored against an 11-1 team away. That says the Irish are frauds amigos. Hoyas are a better team, better schedule. ND are who we thought they were… an afterthought in Big East preseason polls
(3) Oklahoma State -5 vs. Arizona 9:15 PM – I’m probably asking for the big hurt here. Oklahoma State was probably decimated by that end of the year Oklahoma loss and probably will be limp for this game. It’s hard to ignore the fact that this team was a couple turns of the ball in two separate games from being in the National Championship conversation. That plus the fact Arizona has lost 4 straight, and looks very mediocre really makes me like OK. State in this spot. They’re a very good team. I think they end with a nice win.
Yesterday, we dropped the annoying athletes of the year. Today, we’ll go for the coolest. To be classified as cool in this circumstance, we need likable guys who have had success on the playing field. This is a tougher task than one would think. There are a lot of dudes out there that just rub you the wrong way these days.
