On Mike & Mike this morning they drew comparisons between Cliff Lee and Lebron James. Both guys took less money, both guys decided to play for a team that gave them the best chance to win. Unfortunately, I’m not feeling the comparison. It’s apples to oranges. Lebron’s the best player in the game. Cliff Lee is not.

This, of course, gives the Phillies a ridiculous rotation. Put them in the World Series today. Crown ‘em! However….. If I am the Yankees and Rangers I’m not too upset about this. I know the Yankees need to win every year, but in the long run I believe losing out on Lee will help them. Lee’s a playoff marvel, but he’s 32 and just 3 years removed from pitching in the minor leagues. The Yankees were going to give him 7 years! 7…. are you crazy. The Rangers play in the AL West. They can make it to the dance without Cliff Lee. The Yankees may be golfing in October this year.

Kudos to the Phillies for the last minute steal. It’s a perfect fit. The jury is still out on Cliff Lee. Picking the National League was a smart choice my friend, but we’re on to you….

There is no doubt in my mind I am going to selectively breed. I never made it past college, but if I can find an extremely athletic, talented wife my kids may have a chance. It makes you wonder what if they real athletes started breeding? Natural selection would make the rest of the world obsolete.

With this odd, sick thought in mind. Take a look at some couples that would make the greatest athlete of all-time….

My gut says he stays with the Rangers. My gut also says whoever doesn’t get him is going to be thankful they didn’t commit those years and dollars to this guy.

Y!Sports put together this sweet highlight compilation to warm us up for Manchester United’s bout with Arsenal today at 3 pm. Today’s winner would take top spot in the Premier League. As it sits right now there is a log ham with City, Chelsea, and United all with 31 points and Arsenal with 32 points. My prediction is United win 3-2 today……

Take a look at the highlights here: Goal.com: Top 10 Manchester United vs. Arsenal Goals

This looked like some high quality soccer for these young chicks… Right up until the girl gets drilled right in the mug. You can here her start crying right away. Poor girl. Kinda funny though.

Where the hell is this chick? She does that shitty movie Planet of the Apes, some modeling, and that’s a wrap? I mean she’s spectacular, and her body is even better.

Take a look for yourself comrades….

Walk softly, carry a big stick. Pick your cliche. The Jets don’t seem to understand it. Their arrogance put a target on their back and now everyone is relishing in their demise. The confidence in Mark Sanchez is about as stable as Lindsay Lohan. They got their asses kicked by the Pats and then laid an egg against the Dolphins. The cherry on top is this ridiculous tripping incident. It’s pretty easy to see this attitude permeates throughout the organization. Cheers to the Jets continuing to lose….

Squirrels, Rabbits, Birds, and bugs… No player is safe when they take the field. There have been several guests on the field throughout history. Some are funny, some are annoying. Either way, we are going to take a look at some of our furry or feathered friends going for a few minutes of fame. At least the squirrels don’t get tased…

Take a look…..
