Hope this finds everyone doing well, excited for 2011. The age old pastime of making New Years resolutions  is pretty stupid. How many people actually stick with their resolution? By June, I’m sure no one can remember what their resolution was. With that said, we polled some professional athletes and coaches to see what their resolutions were this year. Some were obvious (see above), some pretty interesting…

Take a look…..

(8) James Harrison – LB Pittsburgh Steelers

Resolution: No more mean hits on other players

(7) Bruce Boudreau – Coach Washington Capitals

Resolution: No more naughty language (You have to have seen 24/7 on HBO for this one)

(6) Ben Roethlisberger – QB Pittsburgh Steelers

Resolution: No more mullets… I bet you thought……

(5) Tim Lincecum

Resolution: No more funky trees

(4) Floyd Mayweather – Boxer

Resolution: Just stop doing everything he used to do.

(3) Rex Ryan – Coach NY Jets

Resolution: Stop being the poster boy for the 7 Deadly sins

(2) Lebron James – Miami Heat

Resolution: Figure out “What should I do”

(1) Tiger Woods – Golfer

Resolution: Win a golf tournament…. yup

Great suggestions! We at YTLAG came up with some of our own for our favorite controversial athletes. Check them out here: http://youthrowlikeagirl.com/2011/01/ytlag-sports-new-years-resolutions/
