Every now and then you catch people smooching at games either on Youtube or the jumbotron. Sporting events can be a fun time to take a date to provided it’s the right sporting event. So which events are the right ones? You meet some hot chick you want to start things off right, and hope the situation goes somewhere…. where do you take her?
We carefully looked at a variety of sporting events and graded each one. This guide will help you for your next first date….
You have to have a feel for the chick on this one. Football is not for every date. If you’re trying to get to know the chick, this probably isn’t the best choice. If she loves football, seems fun and energetic, it could work out to your advantage. You certainly won’t have a lot of conversation because of all the standing and cheering. There will be some drinking and excitement though…..

If… and I do say if, you go to an NBA game it is an interesting place to take a date. I guess interesting is the polite way to put it. My guess is you’d be hard pressed to find a chick who loves the NBA. The fact they are always playing music and there is crap going on all around you at the game, it’s not the ideal environment to hold a conversation. If you score courtside seats, it could be fun.

It worked like a charm for Christian Slater in that movie with Marissa Tomei. Hockey is interesting. There are an average of about 5 goals scored and not a terrible amount of cheering. It’s a pretty cool atmosphere. However, it could get annoying trying to explain the rules to a chick. You have to feel this one out a little bit, but I feel like you could win points, and have some good conversation.

I’ll tell you what… A summer night, a few drinks, sit and enjoy a baseball game. Baseball could be the perfect sporting event to take a date on. There isn’t a lot of cheering, good conversation time, and nice food and drinks. Plus the weather will be great to. Baseball might take it…

(1) MLS Soccer Game or Tennis Match

These aren’t our sports, I know this. It’s hard to ignore that they could be fun. They’re different, can be exciting in their own way, and could definitely make for a good date. Soccer is interesting, it’s somewhat of a fun atmosphere. It’s unique. As is tennis.. it’s relaxing, you look cultured and like you’re a high roller. I think it could be worth a shot. But… it’s not our sport.
