A frustrated Mikhail Prokhorov officially ended any possibility that Carmelo Anthony would be headed to the Nets much to the dismay of Jay-Z. This leaves really nobody but the New York Knicks. If, and I do mean if, Carmelo Anthony doesn’t end up with cement shoes at the bottom of some lake in Colorado, there is no reason at all he shouldn’t be in a Knicks’ uniform this season. ‘Melo dissed one of the most powerful men in Russia… just saying.
My question to Donnie Walsh is; what the hell are you doing man? Carmelo Anthony is a superstar. He’s 26 freaking years old. Yeah, 26. In the middle of his prime. The best part is he’s basically drawn out in crayon that the Knicks are the only place he wants to go. The only place he will sign an extension. Walsh it’s a layup buddy. Get creative with a 3-team deal, do something you moron. I don’t want to hear that you’re tired of talking about it. You are in the business, I’m sure you know what Carmelo and Amar’e would do for the popularity of your team. I’d be up 24/7 mixing and matching. Stop being a pussy and just get it done dude. Thing is on a tee for you man.
This idea was inspired by Bart Scott. He simply flew off the handle. No pun intended. I know it was a big game, and emotions were high, but you have to tone it down just a tad. Although the flying was pretty entertaining. There have been some interviews in the past where emotions have just gotten the best of some players. Some are very moving, others (like Scott) are somewhat perplexing. Whether it be a loss, a win, an injury, or something else, sometimes it’s hard to hold back the emotions.
