The 2011 Hall of Fame Inductions take place this Saturday in Dallas. There are a host of finalists, but there is one situation that seems to stick out. The NFL, unlike other leagues, has a cap on Hall of Fame inductees. This year there are three guys top ten all-time rushing Running Backs, but mostly likely, all three won’t get in first time because of this cap. So who gets the nod???
Marshall Faulk – 10th in Rushing, MVP, Super Bowl Champ, close to 20,000 all-purpose yards
Jerome Bettis – 5th All-Time in Rushing, Super Bowl Champ
Curtis Martin – 4th All-Time in Rushing, 10 Straight 1,000 yard seasons.
This is an extremely close call. If one gets in, it’s gotta be Marshall Faulk. If two of the three get in, I guess it will be the Bus and Faulk.. What do you think????
